What you'll do:
1) Technical Expertise:
- Maintaining Cisco Devices such as Cisco Router, Cisco Voice gateway, Cisco Firewalls , Cisco Wireless Controllers and Layer 2 Switches.
- Meraki and TPLINK Omada Network Administration.
- Managing Licenses Cisco License Renewal particularly in Security and Smartnet.
- Manage SIP trunks, phone lines, and extensions.
- Familiarity on Windows / Linux Servers Setup and Failover Clustering Solution
- Support system administration tasks, including server configuration, patching, and basic troubleshooting for Windows and Linux environments.
2) Network Security Infrastructure:
- Familiarity with network switching, routing, and hands-on experience with Cisco SDWAN.
- Knowledge of Network Security, VPN, and NAC.
- Planning, indexing, and adjusting IP addresses database using IP address management and tracking system.
- Understanding of network wireless technologies.
3) Cloud Technologies:
- Be familiar with cloud technologies such as Azure Cloud environment.
- Good background in Local network Gateways and Vwan Technologies.
- Collaborate with cloud and application teams to secure hybrid and cloud environments.
4) Monitoring and Automation:
- Be familiar with network monitoring solutions like SolarWinds and Zabbix
- Expertise in automation tasks and processes.
5) Network Support and Optimization:
- Provide 3rd line network support, offering advice as requested by users.
- Plan and execute complex network implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Conduct technical meetings with vendors and service providers to optimize workload and infrastructure resources.
- Review and analyze current production capacity to meet resource demand.
- Conduct regular security assessments.
6) Documentation and Problem Resolution:
- Maintain documentation, trouble reports, and serviceability records for all networking hardware and software.
- Act as an escalation point for technical problems, determine equipment and software needs, and coordinate information system priorities.
- Ensure network systems' performance and security are up and running.
- Utilize data visualization software such as Power BI to build dashboards, reports, etc.
- Coordinating ISP’s for DIA’s and SIP lines issues .
- Conduct regular security assessments.
- Maintain documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and security policies..
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, Local and international cybersecurity standards
7) Process Improvement and Planning:
- Provide playbooks and root cause analysis for different services.
- Develop transitional plans for the acquisition and installation of equipment.
8) Troubleshooting and Support:
- Diagnose and resolve network and telephony-related issues.
- Provide technical support to end-users for connectivity and telephony problems.
What you'll need:
- 5 – 7 years in IT NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE (CISCO Environment) 3-5 Years in Server Administration ( Windows and Linux).
- CCNA Routing and Switching and security.
- CCNP Routing and Switching or CCNP Enterprise certification.
- Cloud Certificate(s) is a plus
