Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer to lead the deployment, configuration, and management of the Qualys Platform for a leading cybersecurity-focused organization. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure robust security postures, compliance, and proactive risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and customize the Qualys Platform to meet security requirements.
- Manage and optimize vulnerability management, patch management, and compliance scanning.
- Implement and oversee file integrity monitoring, container security, and security best practices.
- Consult and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance security frameworks and risk management.
- Roll out security solutions and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management & Security Operations.
- Strong expertise in Qualys – deployment, customization, and management.
- Hands-on experience with Patch Management, File Integrity Monitoring, Compliance Scanning, and Container Security.
- Ability to analyze security threats and recommend actionable solutions.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
- A problem-solver with a consultative mindset.
- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments.
