Job Opportunity: IT Administrator
We are a leading contracting and manufacturing group with over 6 locations across the UAE, including factories, site offices, stores, and temporary sites. Our central hub in ICAD supports approximately 200 employees utilizing Microsoft 365, ERP, SAP, and specialized professional software, alongside customized internal systems for documentation and archiving.
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our IT operations, overseeing both networking and software teams to support the company’s growth and technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise applications.
- Oversee servers, network infrastructure, access points, and cybersecurity measures.
- Implement IT security policies to prevent fraud, cyber threats, and unauthorized access.
- Administer CCTV, biometric attendance systems, Avaya telecom extensions, and corporate telecom services.
- Ensure proper software licensing, renewals, and vendor agreements for Microsoft, Autodesk, and other enterprise applications.
- Optimize enterprise IT systems, servers, and endpoint devices.
- Oversee IT inventory, AMC contracts, and warranty tracking.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not mandatory).
- Certifications:
- Microsoft Systems: MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent certification.
- Networking & Security: CCNA, CCNP, CISSP (preferred).
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: CISM, CISA, CEH, or ISO 27001 certification (preferred).
- IT Service Management: ITIL Foundation or equivalent.
- Software & Licensing: Microsoft Licensing Specialist or relevant certification.
- Hardware & Infrastructure: CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within contracting, manufacturing, or multi-site operations.
- Hands-on experience in ERP administration (preferably SAP) and enterprise IT infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud solutions & hybrid environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
- Expertise in cybersecurity, IT governance, and data protection protocols.
- Leadership & Strategic IT Planning:
- Experience in IT strategy, budget management, and resource allocation.
- Ability to lead digital transformation and IT process improvements.
- Strong team leadership and mentoring skills.
- Project & Vendor Management:
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and managing large IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong skills in vendor negotiations, IT contracts, and third-party management.
