Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless technology operations and security. The ideal candidate will lead IT projects, manage service desks, and optimize IT resources to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- ICT Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects to align with business needs.
- Service Desk Management: Lead the IT support team to provide effective end-user support.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- IT Security Measures: Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and best practices.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Procurement & Asset Management: Oversee IT asset acquisition, tracking, and lifecycle management.
- Facilities & Data Centre Management: Ensure efficient operation and security of data centers and IT facilities.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Establish robust backup and recovery procedures to prevent data loss.
- Process Improvements: Continuously optimize IT processes for enhanced efficiency and performance.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Operating Systems & Platforms: Microsoft Windows Server 2021, Windows 11/10/7, Linux (Ubuntu Server & Workstation), Mac OS, Cisco IOS, FortiOS.
- Cloud & Directory Services: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Exchange Server.
- System Management & Automation: Microsoft SCCM, WDS, PowerShell.
- Virtualization & Backup Solutions: Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, CommVault Backup, Symantec Backup Exec.
- Networking & Communication: Cisco Unified Communication, Avaya IP Office, Grandstream IP PBX.
- IT Service Management: ServiceNow, TopDesk.
- Mobile & Security Management: Airwatch, Intune, Sophos Mobile, Symantec Gateway and Endpoint Security.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of IT management experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven track record in managing IT projects and service desks.
- In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving technologies.
