We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the availability, security, and efficiency of our systems while providing technical support to staff.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving problems efficiently.
- Monitor and manage network performance, ensuring optimal operation and security of network resources.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data and IT assets, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and backup solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, processes, and configurations for compliance and reference.
- Oversee software installations, updates, and licensing, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements.
- Work with other IT team members to design and implement new technologies and improvements to existing systems.
- Provide training and support to staff on IT-related issues and new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and operating systems.
- Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
