Position Overview:
We are seeking Technical Engineer Interns for our Network and Cybersecurity division. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or engineering students who are enthusiastic about cybersecurity and network infrastructure. You will work closely with our experienced engineering team, gaining hands-on experience in managing and securing enterprise networks, assessing vulnerabilities, and implementing best cybersecurity practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Support the implementation of cybersecurity protocols and firewall management.
- Collaborate on identifying, analyzing, and resolving security vulnerabilities.
- Participate in incident response and recovery processes.
- Assist in the documentation of network infrastructure and security measures.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and tools.
- Contribute to the design and deployment of secure network architectures.
- Provide technical support to clients and assist in various IT projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong interest and passion for cybersecurity and network technologies.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts like firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption, and threat mitigation techniques.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix, Windows Server, or cloud environments is a plus.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Candidate should have their own resident visa.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) are a bonus.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools and security software is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with networking lab setups or cybersecurity projects during academics is a plus.
