Job brief
As the IT Manager, you will collaborate closely with senior management to develop, prioritize, and review the organization's IT strategy for the next 3-5 years. You will be responsible for creating a roadmap to guide the organization in implementing standardized, integrated, and best-practice processes. Additionally, you will oversee the management of the IT budgeting, Microsoft Dynamics ERP system, and business intelligence initiatives (Power BI).
Key Responsibilities
· Managing IT Projects: Oversee and execute IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company objectives. Coordinate between teams to manage project scope, resources, and schedules.
· IT Infrastructure Management: Manage the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, firewalls, printers, meeting room (Crestron, Microsoft Teams), Avaya telephones and Unify Wi-Fi access points, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity across all departments.
· In-house Software Management: Manage and provide support for in-house developed software solutions (Microsoft Dynamics, Power Apps, Power BI). Liaise with developers to address change requests, bug fixes, and feature enhancements.
· Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer and manage the company’s Microsoft Cloud services, ensuring uptime, security, and efficient operations across Azure and related platforms.
· SharePoint Administration: Manage SharePoint sites, libraries, users, and groups. Create new resources, manage user access, and optimize SharePoint functionalities for better collaboration and productivity.
· Active Directory & Group Policy Management: Handle user account creation, access permissions, group policy configurations, and password management in Active Directory.
· Office 365 Management: Administer Office 365 users, email accounts, and policy settings. Ensure smooth operation of email services and handle access and permissions for Office 365 applications.
· Power BI Report Management: Oversee and manage and develop business intelligence reports in Power BI, ensuring data accuracy, usability, and effective decision-making support for the organization.
· Budget Management: Overseeing IT budget and resource allocation.
· Cybersecurity Management: Conduct regular security assessments, implement cybersecurity best practices, and ensure the company is protected from threats. Oversee cyber defense strategies and incident responses.
· Mimecast Email Security Management: Manage and enhance Mimecast email security solutions to protect the company’s email systems from phishing, spam, and other email-borne threats.
· User Training & Support: Provide routine IT training sessions for employees on Windows, Office, and cybersecurity best practices. Act as a guide and mentor to ensure users are following best practices.
· Hardware and Cloud Support (L1 & L2): Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for IT hardware issues and cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient resolution of technical problems.
· Vendor Relations: Managing contracts and relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
· Policy and Compliance: Formulating IT policies and ensuring compliance with regulations.
· Innovation and Trends: Keeping abreast of new technologies and innovations in IT.
· Disaster Recovery Planning: Ensuring effective disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Skills and requirements:
· Proficient in IT infrastructure management, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration.
· Expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
· Understanding of Office365 administration and services: Microsoft Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and other core work components
· Ability to manage IT projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and delivery.
· Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
· Knowledge of risk assessment, vulnerability management, and compliance standards
· Tech savvy with working knowledge of ERP Microsoft Dynamics and CRMs
· ITSM Experience: Asset, Patch, Endpoint, Change Management
· Experience in data governance, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Understanding of Data Science
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role
· Experience in wholesale is a plus
· Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL Framework certification is a plus
· Skilled in negotiating contracts and managing relationships with IT vendors.
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
