IT Director – Dubai
We are hiring a senior technology executive to lead enterprise-wide IT strategy, operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications and digital transformation across the UAE. This role holds full accountability for aligning technology with business growth, regulatory compliance and innovation priorities while overseeing mission-critical systems and large-scale transformation programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide IT and digital strategy aligned to corporate objectives
- Lead large-scale digital transformation programmes across core business functions
- Define enterprise architecture standards and long-term technology roadmaps
- Oversee 24/7 IT operations including infrastructure, cloud (Azure/AWS), networks and enterprise platforms
- Establish cybersecurity frameworks, risk management practices and regulatory compliance controls
- Lead ERP, CRM, HRMS and enterprise system optimisation and integration initiatives
- Own IT budgets (CAPEX & OPEX), vendor strategy and contract governance
- Build and lead high-performing technology teams and present to executive leadership and Board
Requirements:
- 15 + years of progressive IT leadership experience
- 8 + years at Director / VP / SVP level managing enterprise-scale environments
- Strong experience delivering enterprise digital transformation programmes
- Deep knowledge of IT operations, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture and cloud strategy
- Experience within UAE / GCC regulatory environments preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline (MBA preferred)
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM or TOGAF advantageous
- Strong executive presence, stakeholder management and commercial acumen
