We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Vice President who will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, financial stewardship, governance, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise systems, data, and digital transformation landscape of a large, multi-business organisation. Reporting into the CEO, you will need to be a seasoned technology leader capable of aligning enterprise-wide technology strategy with commercial growth objectives, regulatory requirements, operational resilience, and innovation priorities. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on executive accountability across mission-critical platforms and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities:
1. Enterprise Technology Strategy & Transformation
- Define and execute a long-term enterprise technology and digital strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead multi-year transformation programmes across operational, financial, commercial, and support functions.
- Establish enterprise architecture principles and scalable technology roadmaps.
- Drive adoption of cloud-based platforms, automation, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Implement governance frameworks and performance metrics to measure value and return on digital investments.
2. Technology Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee continuous enterprise technology operations to ensure reliability, scalability, security, and high availability.
- Manage hybrid infrastructure environments including cloud platforms, networks, endpoints, enterprise systems, and hosting environments.
- Implement structured service management methodologies and continuous improvement programmes.
- Ensure robust disaster recovery, business continuity, and resilience frameworks are regularly tested and validated.
- Lead enterprise support, service desk, and systems administration functions.
3. Cybersecurity, Risk & Governance
- Establish and maintain an enterprise-wide cybersecurity framework aligned with applicable regulatory and compliance standards.
- Oversee threat monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and security operations capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to data protection and privacy requirements across all business units.
- Conduct enterprise risk assessments and provide executive-level reporting on cyber and technology risk posture.
- Develop and enforce information security, governance, and data management policies.
4. Enterprise Applications & Digital Platforms
- Lead implementation and optimisation of core enterprise platforms including ERP, CRM, HR, finance, procurement, and operational systems.
- Ensure seamless integration across platforms to enable efficient digital workflows.
- Drive automation and modernisation initiatives to improve productivity and reduce operational cost.
- Oversee system migrations, upgrades, and platform transformation programmes.
5. Financial & Vendor Leadership
- Own and manage enterprise technology budgets, ensuring full accountability for capital and operational expenditures.
- Lead strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and service level governance with key technology partners.
- Drive cost optimisation initiatives and ensure measurable value from technology investments.
- Oversee procurement strategies across hardware, software, and managed services.
6. Executive Leadership & Organisational Development
- Build and lead high-performing technology teams spanning infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and data functions.
- Establish succession planning and talent development frameworks.
- Present technology strategy, performance metrics, and risk updates to executive leadership and governance forums.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on technology-enabled growth and competitive advantage.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA or technology-focused master’s degree) is advantageous.
- Extensive progressive leadership experience in enterprise technology environments.
- Significant tenure in senior executive-level roles overseeing large-scale, multi-functional technology organisations.
- Professional certifications in service management, project delivery, cybersecurity, or enterprise architecture are desirable.
- Strong experience operating within regulated, complex, or multi-entity business environments.
