As our Application Security Architect, you'll be at the forefront of securing cutting-edge applications, working with diverse development teams across our global client base. This role combines technical excellence with strategic leadership to drive security-first initiatives that protect mission-critical applications.
Your Impact:
Strategic Leadership:
- Design and implement comprehensive application security strategies aligned with business objectives
- Drive security integration throughout the SDLC
- Lead threat modelling and risk assessment initiatives
- Champion security automation and innovation
Technical Excellence:
- Spearhead secure software architecture design and implementation
- Conduct thorough security assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and optimize security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA)
- Ensure compliance with global standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
Innovation & Education:
- Drive security awareness and training programs
- Stay ahead of emerging security threats
- Provide thought leadership in application security
- Mentor development teams in security best practices
Required Experience:
- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, focusing on application security
- Proven track record in secure software development and threat modeling
- Expert knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
- Strong background in security testing tools and automation
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Technical Proficiency:
- Web application architecture, APIs, and microservices
- Common programming languages and frameworks
- Security testing tools and automation
- Cloud security architecture
- Risk assessment frameworks
