Penetration Tester (Application/Web Security) – MSSP – UAE
Are you an experienced Penetration Tester with a strong focus on application, web, and network security? Airswift has partnered with a leading Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), operating across EMEA and APAC, who are seeking a skilled professional to support their growing client base.
In this role, you’ll play a critical part in influencing key stakeholders to adopt stronger security practices. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth security assessments and analyses to help implement more robust and effective security measures across client environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Web Application Security – Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CVSS scoring, and common vulnerabilities
- Security Code Review – Manual code review using platforms such as Git
- API Security Review – Including OpenShift environments and containerized applications
- Database Security – Assess and recommend improvements to secure databases
- Web Server Security – Identify and implement measures to enhance web server security
- Configuration Review – Conduct comprehensive configuration assessments and identify system misconfigurations
- Integration Review – Evaluate how applications connect with other systems and assess the security of these integrations
- Transport Layer Security – Deep understanding of secure communication protocols and transport layer security mechanisms
