Information Technology Manager
Job Purpose:
The Information Technology Manager oversees IT infrastructure, systems, security, and strategic planning to ensure alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies, maintaining cybersecurity measures, and managing IT projects and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic IT Planning & Infrastructure
- Develop and implement a long-term IT strategy aligned with business goals.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage to ensure security and reliability.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to protect critical systems.
Systems, Applications & Cybersecurity
- Manage the selection, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise software applications.
- Ensure system performance, availability, and upgrades are executed efficiently.
- Implement cyber security protocols, conduct regular security audits, and assess vulnerabilities.
IT Operations & Compliance
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to improve efficiency and security.
- Oversee IT contracts, budget planning, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Evaluate new technologies and system enhancements for potential business integration.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Lead and develop a high-performing IT team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Advise senior management on strategic IT initiatives and system integrations.
- Support business units in selecting and implementing IT solutions to enhance operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- 10+ years of experience in senior IT leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, networks, security, and project management.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
