The Security Architect - Infrastructure and MVNO plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's information assets through the assessment, design, and implementation of security frameworks. This position is vital in ensuring that both infrastructure and Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) environments are fortified against cyber threats. The Security Architect collaborates across various teams to develop security policies, guidelines, and best practices while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. With a focus on risk management and prevention strategies, this role is responsible for developing advanced security solutions that protect sensitive data and maintain operational integrity. Moreover, the Architect provides technical leadership and expertise, ensuring that all security measures align with the organization’s objectives and comply with relevant laws and regulations. By proactively identifying vulnerabilities and implementing robust security architectures, this role helps the organization avoid potential threats and ensures compliance with security standards, ultimately enhancing overall organizational trust and resilience.
We are seeking a skilled Security Architect specializing in infrastructure and MVNO (Mobile
Virtual Network Operator) environments to lead the design and implementation of secure
architectures across our infrastructure and MVNO platforms. This role will focus on
protecting both physical and virtual network elements, safeguarding mobile
communications, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Security Architect
will be responsible for securing data, applications, and infrastructure within complex MVNO
ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture Design and Implementation
Develop and implement security architectures for both on-premises and cloud-based
infrastructure supporting MVNO operations. Define and enforce security standards for
MVNO-specific infrastructure, including subscriber databases, core network components,
and virtualized network functions (VNFs). Ensure the secure integration of MVNO systems
with partner and host networks.
- Network and Infrastructure Security Controls
Implement and manage security controls across MVNO networks, focusing on access
management, identity and authentication, encryption, and monitoring. Design secure
configurations for key MVNO components, such as network switches, VPNs, firewalls, and
mobile network security layers. Ensure compliance with telecom regulations (e.g., GDPR,
CCPA) and industry standards like 3GPP for MVNO security.
- Threat Management and Incident Response
Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments specific to the MVNO infrastructure, including mobile core, RAN, and transport networks. Coordinate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor and respond to security incidents affecting MVNO systems. Investigate root causes of security incidents and develop strategies to enhance resilience and prevent recurrence.4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a security advisor for MVNO teams and stakeholders, providing guidance on security
best practices for network operations and customer data protection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineering, operations, and regulatory compliance, to embed security requirements within MVNO processes.
- Compliance and Risk Management
Conduct regular audits of MVNO systems to verify compliance with regulatory requirements
and internal security policies. Identify and assess risks specific to MVNO operations,
including roaming security, SIM fraud, and subscriber privacy, and develop mitigation
strategies. Keep updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities within the MVNO sector
and recommend proactive measures.
- Documentation and Training
Create detailed security documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration
guidelines, and incident response playbooks. Provide security training and awareness for
MVNO and network operations teams to help identify and manage security risks.

- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience
- 8+ years in information security with a focus on infrastructure and mobile network
- security, ideally within an MVNO, MNO, or telecom environment.
- Certifications:
- GSNA).
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS Certified Security Specialty,
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of mobile network security, MVNO/MNO architecture, and mobile core
- security principles. Experience with securing cloud and on-prem infrastructure, especially
- for telecom environments. Proficiency in security tools (e.g., SIEM, firewall management,
- IDS/IPS) and mobile network security protocols (e.g., 3GPP, LTE, 5G). Understanding of
- encryption, VPN technologies, and secure access methods for MVNO networks.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate security requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of mobile network security.
Application Process
- Please submit your resume and a cover letter highlighting your experience with
