About the Position:
We are recruiting an experienced IT Audit Senior Manager to join Emirates Transport – Internal Audit team. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Information Technology audit activities and special projects being carried out by assigned auditors/consultants or other external resources, in accordance with the Emirates Transport policies and procedures and global and regional standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Participate in the development of short and long-term audit plans, policies, guidelines, objectives, procedures, and audit management systems.
- Develop and implement projects and programs to assist in the accomplishment of established goals, schedule audits, initiate project planning, assess risk, and develops audit direction.
- Perform risk assessment activities and prepare/update the risk registers, for IT across Emirates Transport.
- Establishes the direction for audits, provides leadership to assigned auditors and manages the project to quality outcomes while meeting established time and budget.
- Ensure the execution of a systematic, disciplined, and balanced approach to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Provide Business and IT management with guidance on IT risk management matters, particularly on application and infrastructure security.
- Champion audit automation by supporting the implementation of an audit management system.
- Manage planning accounting audits on the audit management system.
- Conduct audits or lead audit teams in the performance of IT audits and reviews of systems, applications, and IT processes.
- Perform pre and post-implementation reviews of system implementations or enhancements
- Perform IT security audits (e.g. network, operating system, and data center), including evaluating if security vulnerabilities are properly identified and mitigated.
- Evaluate information general computing controls and provide value-added feedback. Test compliance with those controls.
- Perform various other reviews of IT management policies and procedures such as change management, business continuity planning/ disaster recovery, and information security to ensure that controls surrounding these processes are adequate.
- Develop, build & implement tools to analyze data to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness, (including for risk assessments and audit management).
- Act as a source for analytics that business units adopt to provide business insights or for continuous auditing.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the IT Risk Assessment across Emirates Transport under the oversight of the Internal Audit Director; including identifying areas where business units should consider additional investment and areas internal audit should focus on.
- Achieve high professional standards of audit performance, reports, and recommendations in conformity with International Standards of Internal Audit and within Emirates Transport policy, procedures, and long-range goals.
Expected Qualifications:
- BSC in an IT-related field
Experience and Skills Set:
- Minimum of 8 years experience in technology audit and assurance
- Extensive information security, cybersecurity, and network control audit knowledge.
- Solid experience in data analytics and reporting
- Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional certificates (e.g. CISA) is a plus
