Madison Pearl have been mandated by a leading global investor to help build up their IT team. They are looking to hire a cybersecurity manager with 10+ years of experience working with leading investment banks/asset managers. The ideal candidate would have an excellent record of designing and implementing controls to safeguard the entity’s systems from cyberattacks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement controls and systems such as firewalls, SIEM systems and prevention systems.
- Being involved in security evaluations and audits.
- Oversee and assess security – related data to determine potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Observe and test incident response capabilities.
- Reporting to stakeholders on the efficiency of security systems and controls
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in applying and maintaining security systems with a global asset manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree minimum. Certifications such as CCNA Security, CISSP or equivalent would be a plus.
- Strong knowledge of security concepts such as SASE/SOAR.
- Strong knowledge of frameworks such as ISO27001.
- Understanding of project management methods to trace and report on threat and vulnerability efforts
