Responsibilities
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks within an organization’s systems and networks.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard against potential cyber threats.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to improve security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform security monitoring, incident response, and forensic analysis to detect and mitigate security incidents.
- Conduct security awareness training and education programs for employees to enhance cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into new projects and system implementations.
- Stay current on emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously enhance security practices.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure systems can quickly recover from security breaches or disasters.
- Participate in security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls and make recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity issues, representing the organization in discussions with clients, partners, and vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
