The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. The main objective is to increase sales volume and formulate effective sales strategies to build a pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- To be able to formulate effective sales strategies to build a pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify sales opportunities through effective sales methodologies.
- Qualify leads into opportunities.
- Meet partners to address concerns, provide solutions, validate partner needs on an ongoing basis, and maintain relationships within the partner ecosystem.
- Have strong end-user connections to pitch the product portfolio.
- Work closely with vendor companies to establish excellent business relationships.
- Participate in marketing events (e.g. trade shows), roadshows, tech cafés, and seminars to cultivate customer, partner and vendor relationships
- Consistently achieve sales targets in conjunction with the growth plans of the organisation.
- To be able to work closely with the technical team to oversee successful demo’s, POCs, and responses to RFP’s.
- Should have the ability to proactively recruit new qualifying partners.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
- Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- BSc/BA in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Proven experience as a BDM
