Are you an IT leader with a vision for innovation and excellence? One of Dubai's prominent government entities is seeking a Director - IT to spearhead their technology strategy and operations, driving transformation in line with the organization’s mission and the UAE’s future vision.

Key Accountabilities:

Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and Dubai’s government digital transformation initiatives.
Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure, applications, and services to ensure seamless operations.
Lead the identification, evaluation, and adoption of emerging technologies to drive innovation and operational efficiency.
Manage IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Direct the planning and execution of cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive data and systems from threats.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored IT solutions that enhance performance.
Oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource utilization.
Build and nurture a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and technology partners to support IT initiatives and ensure high service levels.
Drive digital transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and measurable outcomes.

Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
Master’s degree in IT Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management capacity.
Proven expertise in IT strategy development, infrastructure management, and digital transformation within large organizations.
Experience working within government entities or public sector organizations in the UAE is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams.
Expertise in IT governance, cybersecurity, and risk management.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain is a plus.
