Position: Network & Security Engineer – L1
Duration: 6 months
Client location: Abu Dhabi
Must have: UAE driver’s license
Rate - 8K AED / Month
Key Skills and Competencies
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiAuthenticator, FortiAnalyzer).
- Experience with SonicWall firewalls and Aruba ClearPass for network access control.
- Strong knowledge of Aruba and Cisco switches and Aruba Wireless infrastructure.
- Familiar with Fortinet switches and wireless solutions.
- Security and Compliance:
- Strong understanding of network security principles, firewall policies, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and threat prevention.
- Experience in implementing access control policies, VLANs, and network segmentation.
- Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills:
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues quickly.
- Experience with network analysis and monitoring tools, including FortiAnalyzer.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Effective communicator with the ability to document configurations, policies, and incident reports.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications (preferred):
- Fortinet NSE (Network Security Expert) certifications (e.g., NSE4, NSE5).
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP (Routing and Switching, Security).
- Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP).
- SonicWall CSSA (Certified SonicWall Security Administrator).
- Experience: Minimum of (X) years of experience in network security with a focus on Fortinet, Aruba, and Cisco technologies.
