Qualifications

Bachelor's or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Requirements

Minimum 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineer or a similar role with a good hands-on experience on the list of tech stack as listed in the responsibilities section, we are looking for someone who is well-versed with security [SIEM, PAM, DAM, API Security, Network and application security, Threat modeling, Antivirus / Malware detections & protections, App & Infra. Security Practices & Architecture etc.].
Additionally, if you are certified on any of the technologies, we would love to see you prove it with your detail-oriented problem-solving skillset and knowledge of the products

Responsibilities & Authorities

Extensive hands-on experience managing security solutions, including Wazuh SIEM, PAM, and DAM platforms.
Monitor, analyze, and manage security alerts from various tools and systems, including SIEM, PAM, DAM, and other cybersecurity technologies.
Practical knowledge and application of the MITRE ATT&CK framework to understand and counter cyber adversary tactics and techniques.
Develop security detection rules, parsers, and establish SIEM data pipelines for optimal log ingestion and correlation, including cases, dashboards, reports, rules, filters, trends, and active channels.
Deploy and maintain SOAR platforms to automate security operations, streamline incident response workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.
Lead the development and implementation of incident response plans to ensure prompt and effective resolution of security incidents.
Continuously monitor SIEM and other security event sources, assess, prioritize, escalate, and manage alerts to mitigate security risks.
Track and resolve security incidents in collaboration with cross-functional teams, offering recommendations for process improvements.
Experience managing antivirus/malware detection and protection solutions, ensuring strong defense against malware threats.
Conduct analysis and triage of security incidents to determine impact and provide recommendations for strengthening security.
Operational experience with security logging and event correlation from cloud-based and on-premises data sources.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, Patch Management, API Security, Penetration Testing, Threat Modeling, and Security Auditing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence (or similar tools).
Familiarity with compliance requirements and controls for standards such as SOC2, ISO, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and others.

Common responsibilities:

Comply to Avrioc’s Information security and Information service management policies, procedures, and standards.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of information and attend mandatory Information security trainings.
Report information security incidents through Avrioc’s established incident reporting channel.
