Our client is one of the leading pioneers in Oil & Gas, Energy Sector and looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities will Include:
- Accountable to plan and execute IT systems and networks upgrade tasks to meet requirements and seek compliance with Department of Energy Cyber Security Framework.
- Responsible for the administration and security of business applications (e.g. plant commercial, performance and monitoring applications).
- Responsible for IT induction programs, the coordination of systems and network related training, and for the delivery of on-site IT security awareness programs.
- Accountable Monitoring and responding to security incidents, breaches, and threats.
- Responsible to Apply security patches and updates to operating systems and applications.
- Lead by example to maintain and improve high safety standards in accordance to organizations Quality, health, safety and the environment (QHSE) procedures.
- Responsibility to enroll in safety tours and submit observation cards related to Health, Safety and Environment frequently.
- Accountable to earn hours of training to enhance knowledge sharing across organizational functions, and for the training and development delivery of the organizations IT trainees according to set and IT procedures.
Who we’re looking for:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in IT or Cyber Security.
- Must have certifications in CCNP, Microsoft 365 Security Administration.
- Security+/ CISSP is an advantage
- Must have a minimum of 5 years working experience in IT Engineer roles, or 3 years power and desalinization plant IT work experience
- Experience with computer, servers, IP phones maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience reading network diagrams.
- On-hand experience performing performance tests, and safety measures
