Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Solutions Sales Manager (Cybersecurity) with over 10 years of experience in sales, preferably within the cybersecurity or IT space. In this senior role, you will lead a team of sales professionals, drive business development strategies, and manage relationships with key clients. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategy and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets. With your expertise, you will help clients navigate their cybersecurity needs, providing them with tailored, innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the cybersecurity sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure individual and team success.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets.
- Identify high-potential business opportunities and lead efforts to build and maintain strong client relationships at the executive level.
- Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to create tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective management of the sales process from prospecting to closing.
- Stay informed about cybersecurity trends, threats, and competitive solutions to maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Regularly report on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role in the cybersecurity or IT sector.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading successful sales teams.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity products, services, and industry trends (e.g., firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain C-level relationships with key decision-makers.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
Preferred:
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
- Experience working with mid-market and enterprise clients in diverse industries.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools.
