Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced OT Cybersecurity Engineer to drive the security of Operational Technology (OT) environments across our client's infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding critical industrial systems, ensuring they are protected against cyber threats, and contributing to the successful delivery of transformative digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement OT cybersecurity strategies to protect critical industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA environments.
- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability management, and compliance reviews within OT environments.u
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align OT cybersecurity solutions with business needs during digital transformation projects.
- Lead the design and integration of security solutions across a wide range of OT technologies.
- Monitor and respond to OT-related security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and mitigating risks.
- Ensure security measures comply with industry standards such as IEC 62443 and NIST CSF.
- Provide technical leadership and support in the adoption of new security technologies tailored to OT.
- Work closely with IT and OT teams to implement security controls while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in OT cybersecurity within industrial sectors such as Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, or Transportation.
- Proven expertise with ICS/SCADA systems and OT security frameworks (IEC 62443, NERC CIP, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), endpoint protection, and network security solutions specific to OT.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools, incident response, and risk management in OT environments.
- Strong understanding of both IT and OT security architecture and practices.
- Professional certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
