Position: Network Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist with a solid infrastructure
(network) background for a unique and impactful role. The ideal candidate will have at least
4 years of experience in network penetration testing, network auditing, and firewall
management. This role combines technical expertise with stakeholder engagement,
requiring strong communication skills and collaboration across teams. Additionally, you will
help build a firewall auditing tool, necessitating some programming experience in Python,
Java, or a similar language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive network penetration tests using tools such as Nmap,
Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nessus.
- Perform detailed network security audits and identify vulnerabilities in infrastructure.
- Collaborate in the development of a firewall auditing tool to enhance security
measures.
- Leverage your infrastructure/network background to assess and improve the security
of systems, firewalls, and network devices.
- Engage with key stakeholders to communicate findings, remediation strategies, and
progress on security initiatives.
- Ensure smooth coordination between the security team and other departments,
providing clear and actionable reports.
- Stay informed on the latest network security trends, emerging threats, and industry
best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in network pentesting, network auditing, and
infrastructure/network security.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion
detection/prevention systems.
- Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, or similar for tool
development.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex security issues to
both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and working cross-functionally.
