Responsibilities:
As a SOC Analyst Intern, you will be an integral part of our Security Operations team and assist in various cybersecurity activities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring security alerts and incidents using various security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
- Assisting in the analysis of security incidents to determine their severity and potential impact.
- Collaborating with senior analysts to investigate and respond to security events.
- Participating in threat hunting exercises to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of security documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts.
- Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
- Knowledge of common cybersecurity threats and attack vectors.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
