Position Summary:
As a Senior IT Security Manager, you are primarily responsible for enabling the managed service teams to fulfill SLAs by managing the target level of cyber resilience and security compliance.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Understand the security scope and architecture of a client installation
- Identify and help management deal with cybersecurity risks and non-compliance
- Design and drive account-level cybersecurity governance and operational setups
- Manage replan/ security backlog and emergency cybersecurity response
- Represent the company in security talks with the customer security team
- Being trusted and competent advisor & Point of Contact to assigned customers and managed services teams on production security matters
- Ensure production environments are run and upgraded in security manner either for cloud-run or classic environments
- Manage set of operational security requirements and exceptions (if any)
- Maintain thorough and detailed knowledge of relevant industry practices & customer requirements
- Perform technical security audits for production environments, managed services processes or planned changes
- Ensure security timelines are met
- Lead access management, incident response, vulnerability management and data obfuscation efforts
What experience do you need for this role?
- Understanding of security baselines for major vendors – Azure, AWS, Oracle, RedHat, Windows (e.g. CIS)
- Understanding of security models and concepts, especially cloud
- Soft skills, ability to influence without direct authority
- Stress resistance
Good to have experience
- Database management, security solution design or application support experience
- Experience defining/implementing complex security technical requirements for databases, networks or complex systems (ERP-like)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
