Job Description:
As the Service Delivery Head for technical projects in cybersecurity, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of various cybersecurity projects. Your primary focus will be managing the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring that projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Governance and risk compliance, Security incident management and monitoring, Threat defense operations, Vulnerability assessment and Penetration testing, Security engineering
Project Management: Lead and manage the delivery of multiple cybersecurity projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines, milestones, and budgets. Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and frameworks. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring the effective implementation of security controls and best practices.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionals, including project managers, security analysts, engineers, and consultants. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, providing coaching and mentoring as required.
Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations. Ensure effective communication, manage client relationships, and provide regular project status updates, ensuring client satisfaction.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues impacting project delivery and take appropriate actions to mitigate them. Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans to ensure project success.
Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure that deliverables meet the highest security and quality standards. Conduct regular reviews, audits, and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in cybersecurity. Drive improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery processes, tools, and methodologies.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, progress reports, and metrics. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting project performance, challenges, and recommendations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Demonstrated track record of effectively delivering intricate technical projects within the cybersecurity field.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities, focusing on fostering collaboration and driving results.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive risk identification and mitigation approach.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GDPR or PMP, ISO 27001, ISO/IEC 27032, CEN, NESA NIST, Cloud Security Certification, SC-200, ITIL V4, etc. are highly desirable.
