Role Overview:
The System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient system operations. The role supports day-to-day IT operations across the organization, ensuring systems, servers, and networks run smoothly to support real estate business activities and users.
Key Responsibilities
1. System Administration & Maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across all IT infrastructure.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance.
2. Infrastructure & Network Support
- Manage and support network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity.
- Ensure stable connectivity across offices, sales centers, and project sites.
- Troubleshoot system and network issues and provide timely resolutions.
3. Security & Data Protection
- Implement and maintain security policies, user access controls, and data protection measures.
- Monitor system logs and security alerts to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
4. User Support & IT Operations
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and system issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across IT systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, software, and system support when required.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain documentation of systems, infrastructure, and IT procedures.
- Ensure systems comply with internal IT policies and security standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure support.
- Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
Technical Skills
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and switches.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
