We are looking for an Information Security Lead who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the organization’s information security activities, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. The role acts as the central point of contact for security operations, compliance, and incident response.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in information security roles
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Experience working with Security Operations Centers (SOC)
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in maritime or oil & gas environments is an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead all information security initiatives across the organization
- Act as the primary liaison with the outsourced Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Oversee deployment, integration, and maintenance of security tools and technologies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and contractual security requirements
- Monitor and report on the organization’s security posture and risk landscape
- Support incident response planning, execution, and post-incident reviews
- Promote security awareness and a security-focused culture within the organization
