Job Summary:
The Manager, Cyber Security Delivery, leads and implements technical cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard TAQA, its subsidiaries, and non-operated assets in compliance with UAE regulatory requirements. The role delivers integration projects with IWPPs and other TAQA entities, overseeing cybersecurity procurement, budget tracking, and reporting while serving as the primary point of contact for all cybersecurity projects and service delivery across these sub-entities. Additionally, the Manager, Cyber Security Delivery, ensures ongoing operational visibility for the Security Operations Center (SOC) regarding all TAQA Group assets, including IWPPs and other non-operated assets as defined by the UAE regulatory authority, while also guaranteeing that central TAQA SOC systems are regularly updated to reflect any changes in deployed hardware and software across all entities.
General Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Planning
- Implement the organizational strategy in line with the business vision, mission, and corporate objectives, as well as the Group delegation of authority policy.
- Ensure that the overall business strategy is translated into annual operational business plans and the performance is monitored to ensure business plans are in line with the overall growth plan.
- Policy, Procedures, Process, and Systems
- Implement policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls covering all functional areas in line with the group's delegation of authority policy to ensure fulfilment of all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements while consistently delivering quality and cost-effective service.
- Reporting
- Ensure all divisional reports are completed timely and comply with HQ and business policies and standards.
- Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.
- Comply with organization requirements in a timely manner.
Job Specific Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the execution of complex cybersecurity projects across the TAQA Group, IWPPs, and other non-operated assets defined by the UAE regulatory authority, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and meet established scope and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT/OT, operations, procurement, and finance, to establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring that security measures are seamlessly integrated with overall business objectives.
- Continuously monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying and addressing risks and issues to ensure successful project completion.
- Lead cybersecurity integration initiatives with sub-entities and IWPPs, ensuring the consistent adoption of security protocols, technologies, and best practices throughout the organization.
- Ensure the continual operational performance of Security Operations Center (SOC) connectivity across the TAQA Group and IWPPs, collaborating with each entity on system modifications to maintain effective monitoring and system availability.
- Manage the procurement process for cybersecurity tools and services, optimizing budgets and resources to fulfil organizational needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the configuration and maintenance of data collection servers, ensuring they are installed, deployed, and monitored effectively to maintain optimal infrastructure performance and reliability.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing on servers and associated infrastructure, identifying gaps in security measures and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks effectively.
- Develop, implement, and maintain incident response plans for server environments across the TAQA Group and IWPPs, ensuring readiness for cybersecurity incidents and minimizing impact on business operations.
- Enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards related to server management, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and cybersecurity best practices to protect critical data and systems.
- Ensure that the cybersecurity infrastructure is properly maintained and updated, implementing necessary upgrades and patches to safeguard against vulnerabilities and enhance system performance.
- Develop and maintain reports to track key performance metrics and risks and provide strategic insights for informed decision-making by Cyber Security leadership and Cyber Security Steering Committee (CSSC).

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- 10 years of experience in a program management role, with a minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity.
- Certification in project management, i.e., PMP
- Demonstrated experience in the Energy sector
