- Responsible for the origination, pitching and execution of Issuer Services Products and related transaction viz., 1) Initial Public Offerings (which includes Rights Issues, MCBs and any other equity related offerings), (2) Share Registrar & Paying Agent Services and (3) Fund Registrar Services with focus on UAE Markets
- Responsible for revenue and expenses and achieving the allocated budgets and follow-on budgets for Issuer Services
- Maintain excellent relationships with the local Regulators, Ministry of Finance, Top Management of Local Corporates, Family Conglomerations, VVIPs, HNW clients, Legal and Auditing firms. Add new business relationships to the Bank and Cross sell Bank’s other products to generate additional income to the organization
- Oversee business development initiatives of the department and plan for continuous improvement of systems, communications and transaction workflows to enhance the customer service.
Responsibilities
1- Business Strategy, Development & Marketing:
- Pitching of deals, submission of RFPs/Proposals for new projects and business relationships.
- Annual budgets and follow up on the ongoing forecasts and responsible for the achievement of proposed budget, proper management of accounts, and further development of the business.
- Present reports on performance and activities on a weekly basis and apprise the Sr. Management with the status of the mandated and pipeline projects.
- Retain existing clients, attain new projects, and convert them as relationships with the bank and cross sell other products of the bank.
- Negotiate and finalize the fee with the clients.
- Negotiate return on funds held under our management
- Maintain excellent relationships with the Top Management of the Big Business Houses, Corporates, Government Organizations / Entities, VVIPs, HNW clients.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the local Regulators viz. SCA, ADX, DFM, Ministry of Economics, Federation of Chamber of Commerce, Legal and Audit Firms.
- Ensure appropriate project planning and ensure deliverables to the utmost satisfaction of the clients.
- Continuously coordinate with Stock markets in relation to the IPOs and Share Registrar Services business.
- Closely coordinate with ECM, GPB and other Coverage and Networking teams for Equity and Debt Products projects.
- 2- Administrative:
- Ensure recruitment of resources, as required per project, for supporting the business
- Provide continues support and guidance to the direct reportees and the staff,
- Determine training needs of the staff to ensure continues enhancement of their skills and knowledge for enhancing the customer service and efficiency
- Conduct meetings with the branches, Point of Sale / direct Sales networking teams and explain the processes for the implementation of the project and its success
- Ensure assessment of temporary staff requirement and arrange to engage them with necessary approvals for the delivery of the mandated projects.
- Continuous Re-engineering of the existing department process and procedures to enhance the customer experience and to meet the Regulators requirements.
- Obtain approvals for systems development to operate under an effective, controllable and secure solutions that adheres to the bank’s polices and security requirements.
- Ensure appropriate licensing requirement are fulfilled and regulatory licences and approvals are obtained.
- 3- Compliance, Risk and Business Continuity:
- Ensure Chinese walls between the Front Office and Operations functions
- Ensure adherence to all the regulations issued by the Bank and the Local Regulators
- Ensure review of risk assessment of the department on a yearly basis and test all the controls and security aspects working properly.
- Ensure assigning Risk, Business Continuity Management Champions in the department
- Ensure appropriate reporting to the Regulators and MIS reporting.
- 4- Coordination with the Stakeholders:
- Coordinate with ITD, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Legal teams to ensure smooth functioning of the department
- Coordinate with all business divisions viz., GM, GPB, Branch Networking and Sales Teams and Coverage teams, Call Centre for the success of the projects .
- 5- Quality & Assurance:
- Ensure appropriate mechanism is in place to register customer enquiries/suggestions / complaints and address them to the utmost satisfaction of the customer.
- Facilitate Internal Audit, as per the Bank’s policy, and ensure that the business obtain satisfactory rating.
- Facilitate External Audit, wherever required, and ensure that the project / business is running smoothly.

Qualifications
- Holds minimum a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics or equivalent degree
- Excellent business knowledge gained from a banking career or from consultancy work supporting regional and global banks. Possess sufficient business and technical experience (9/10 years in a financial related business) to challenge and persuade business customers
- Project Management experience supported by a relevant Project Management qualification and a solid track record of delivery
- An ability to simplify the complex and excellent communication skills – written and oral
- The ability to build relationships quickly because of good interpersonal and proven negotiation skills
- Quality and detail focus with an ability to juggle numerous priorities
- Computer literate with knowledge of project management
