- Setting the strategic direction for the digital engineering unit, and ensuring alignment with the bank's broader objectives
- Driving innovation and digital transformation within the bank, with a focus on developing and maintaining cutting-edge digital products and services that enhance customer experiences and drive the bank's competitiveness in the digital era.
- Responsible for assembling and managing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, and attracting and retaining top talent in the digital engineering space.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the digital engineering unit's strategic plan.
- Accountable for aligning digital initiatives with the bank's overall strategic objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital engineering team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture within the unit.
- Champion a customer-centric approach through user research and feedback collection.
- Drive continuous improvement of digital services to meet customer needs.
- Development and grooming of Team Members in a way that helps the bank.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering/IT/Computer Applications.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Product Owner (CPO)
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Banking Channels, payments and cards, minimum 8 years leading a team in this area.
- Proven experience in leading digital engineering teams within the financial services or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of web and mobile development, payment processing, and card technologies.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Proven ability to drive digital transformation and innovation.
