Role Summary
The IT & Systems Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and maturing the company’s technology landscape, overseeing IT operations, cybersecurity, business applications and governance.
This is a hands-on, transformation-focused position designed to build a scalable and secure IT foundation while driving digital enablement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Operations & Service Excellence
- Lead and continuously improve IT infrastructure and service delivery to support a fast-growing organization (100+ employees)
- Strengthen foundational IT processes — asset management, helpdesk, backups, connectivity, hardware lifecycle, and user access controls.
- Drive modernization of the IT environment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with business priorities.
- Manage IT vendors and service providers to deliver measurable service quality and responsiveness.
- Establish standard operating procedures and documentation for IT operations, incident management, and change control.
2. Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance
- Build and sustain a robust cybersecurity framework across the organization.
- Partner with the external Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) to ensure proactive threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and policy compliance.
- Translate security recommendations into actionable in-house initiatives and ensure follow-through across teams.
- Oversee data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Promote an organizational culture of cyber awareness and accountability.
3. Business Applications & Digital Transformation
- Oversee business-critical applications (ERP, CRM, collaboration, and analytics tools), ensuring they enable efficient and data-driven operations.
- Collaborate with business leaders to define digital transformation priorities, streamline workflows, and automate manual processes.
- Manage application roadmaps, vendor relationships, upgrades, and integrations.
- Champion user adoption and continuous improvement across business systems.
- Identify opportunities to leverage low-code tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate) to enhance performance and insight generation.
4. IT Strategy, Governance & Maturity Building
- Develop and execute a multi-year IT transformation roadmap aligned with company strategy.
- Establish IT governance, documentation standards, and performance metrics
- Drive standardization and integration of technology tools across departments.
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, licensing, and vendor contracts with a focus on cost efficiency and value.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, providing guidance on technology risks, opportunities, and innovation trends.
Profile & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and business systems management, ideally within a growing organization.
- Proven track record in building or transforming IT environments and implementing scalable governance frameworks.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, and endpoint management.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity standards and experience working with MSSPs or SOC partners.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM platforms and digital workflow or automation tools.
- Strong vendor management, project management, and change leadership skills.
- Self-driven and autonomous, capable of balancing daily operational demands with longer-term transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, able to translate technical concepts into business impact.
