My client is seeking an experienced Technical Consultant to work on a number of high profile implementation projects with various customers in the Enterprise and Public Sector space. This role requires strong technical knowledge around Cyber Security and Networking, specifically with Fortinet solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level WAN and data center networks.
- Lead network security projects focusing on firewall architecture, configuration, and policy enforcement. (Experience with Fortinet is required)
- Experience with SD-WAN and SASE, FortiNAC, MAIL, EDR.
- Support IP routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and TCP/IP.
- Oversee LAN/WAN architecture and ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay current on emerging technologies including SD-WAN, SDDC, and cloud networking.
- Document configurations, workflows, and network changes.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in network and network security engineering.
- Proven experience in enterprise IP routing and network design.
- Hands-on experience with firewall systems and network security implementation.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, PPP, HDLC, Spanning Tree, Multicast, TCP/IPv4 & IPv6, DHCP, DNS, HSRP, GLBP, SNMP, LAN/MAN/WAN technologies (e.g. MPLS, SONET, ATM, ISDN)
- Familiarity with SDN technologies (e.g. SD-WAN, SDDC)
- Experience with VoIP networks is a plus.
- Working knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid connectivity models.
Certifications (Preferred):
- CCNA, CCNP Enterprise / CCNP Security
- NSE 3,4, or 5. FCP Network Security
