Role - System Security Engineer
Work Location: Abu Dhabi
Must have at least 5 years of IT support technical experience with proven experience as a security system engineer (Video Surveillance System / Access Control System / Public Address / Intercom) for at least 3 years.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or graduate of a technical school.
- Experience on deployment, installation and maintenance of enterprise Video Surveillance System (Milestone, Genetec, Axxonsoft, Axis, etc)
- Experience on deployment, installation and maintenance of enterprise Access Control System (Dormakaba, Salto, Lenel, Idemia/Morpho, Suprema, HID)
- Experience on deployment, installation and maintenance of Public Address and Intercom Systems (Bosch, Commend, Zenitel, Aiphone Etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of server operating systems and server hardware.
- Strong understanding of IP-based security platforms, including network infrastructure and concepts and TCP/IP protocol
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and network hardware, software, and processes.

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure and maintain Security System, ensuring high availability, scalability and performance. Security System includes Video Surveillance System, Access Control System, Public Address, Intercom and more.
- Administer, maintain and provide support on the installation of Video Surveillance System, Access Control System, Public Address and Intercom System hosted both in Windows and Linux environment.
- Monitor system performance, identify and proactively address performance issues to ensure the optimal performance of all security systems.
- Create, develop and prepare technical documentation for all security systems. Technical documentation should have processes, procedures, troubleshooting guides and training modules.
- Work closely with the IT Security team and the Networking team to ensure data protection and security. Maintain all Security Systems to be updated. Ensure all security and cumulative and firmware updates are installed accordingly.
- Maintain a detailed system inventory along with its software and firmware version, build number and revision dates to ensure accuracy and up to date information.
- Assist the Operation and Project Team in planning and designing security system requirements for projects and/or, upgrades, migration and ordering the required devices, software licenses and installation prerequisites materials. Maintain and monitor maintenance annual contracts and track end of life and end of support, product lifecycle, software license subscription and support contract for all the security systems.
