ADNOC Schools are currently seeking a IT Assistant for an immediate start. The current vacancy is based in ADNOC School, Sas Al Nakhl, Abu Dhabi.
ADNOC Schools are Massachusetts State Curriculum schools in superb facilities in Abu Dhabi City and the Western Region of Abu Dhabi Emirate.

Being a member of the procurement team, you will be responsible of ensuring that schools requirements are fulfilled for excellent delivery of education to all of our students across all groups of schools.
You should be dynamic and able to resolve problems, while maintaining complete compliance to corporate governance. Proper planning, excellent time management, and knowledge of the education supplier base are essential qualities we look for in our team members.
Responsibilities
Main Duties:
Documentation:
- Raising PR’s, approvals and signatures for invoices and orders.
- User guides
- Preparing RFP’s, BOQ’s and SOW’s.
- Record keeping: Excel Datasets & Lists, inventories, ITSM Knowledge base.
- Maintaining IT policies up to date and routine audit for compliance.
- Establish and maintain filing systems and IT department archives.
- Creating and updating all contracts and asset inventories in ITSM.
- Preparing reports, analysis, tabulations, etc. and distributes data as requested.
Communication:
- Draft internal/external IT email communication.
- Communicating with IT vendors (meetings, quotations, orders).
- Minuting inter-departments and vendor meetings
- Liaise with colleagues in all Directorates for support and technical requirements of IT
Specific Duties:
Operations & Support:
- Data collection across IT functions
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
- Alignment and coordination of multi-function projects and initiatives
- Basic L1 support to parents and students.
- Basic IT training on key systems to staff and parents.
- Create service request and other online forms.
- Maintaining IT consumables & accessories
- Providing other ad-hoc administrative tasks when required and able to react to change productively.
- Monitor key applications and mailboxes and inform IT management.
- Help enforce change management processes across ITSM systems.
- Coordinate logistical duties with IT vendors and Facilities Management to ensure smooth delivery and receipting of IT equipment.
- Handle GRN process and issue delivery notes and vendor work completion forms.
- Undertake additional duties as required by the Line Manager appropriate.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation in IT Service Management
- Microsoft administrator certifications in, servers, Azure, Desktop and Office 365
- CompTIA Servers+ is a plus
Minimum Experience:
- At least 5 years of system administration, database and web apps experience
Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, SAN/NAS Storage, HCI, etc. Relevant certifications is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, O365 and windows Server environment. Relevant certification is a must.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation of Office365 is a plus.
- Expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
