Role Overview
The Project Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring effective coordination, document control, and communication between project teams and stakeholders. This position supports project monitoring, reporting, and day-to-day administration to help ensure successful and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize essential project documentation including plans, schedules, reports, and correspondence.
- Facilitate communication between departments and ensure timely sharing of feedback and updates.
- Provide administrative support such as drafting letters, tracking Variation Orders, Payment Certificates, and other key documents.
- Coordinate weekly project meetings with the Project Manager and follow up on action items.
- Develop and manage an efficient project filing system.
- Monitor and track project timelines, deliverables, and expenses.
- Assist in implementing quality control processes to ensure project outputs meet required standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma in a technical discipline (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio), and project management tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
