We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented candidate to oversee the security operations across our organisation. The candidate will be responsible for the protection of Momentum gaming equipment, assets, and personnel across various locations, including office spaces, retail outlets, warehousing facilities, and studio environment. This role requires a proactive leader capable of ensuring that all security protocols are effective and in compliance with local laws, regulations, and gaming industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing security teams, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring effective risk mitigation strategies. This role also demands expertise in secure transportation, managing the ingress and egress of people and materials, and establishing security measures for high-value assets and high-profile events. A key responsibility is ensuring that all security functions support the operational and regulatory needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Security Strategies:
- Design and enforce comprehensive security strategies to safeguard personnel, assets, and operations across all facilities and locations.
- Continuously update security plans to reflect evolving threats and best practices.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with government organizations and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local security regulations, as well as global gaming security standards.
- Work closely with gaming regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to industry-specific requirements.
Risk Assessments and Security Audits:
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and oversee the execution of security mitigation plans to reduce potential risks.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage the security team, providing ongoing training, support, and guidance to optimize performance.
- Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team morale and ensure a seamless approach to security operations.
Surveillance and Monitoring:
- Oversee the use of surveillance systems and monitoring tools to detect, prevent, and respond to suspicious activities and potential threats.
- Ensure all assets are properly safeguarded, including gaming equipment and other high-value items.
Incident and Emergency Management:
- Lead the response to security incidents, including emergency protocols and crisis management procedures.
Access Control and Security Protocols:
- Manage access control systems to regulate the ingress and egress of personnel and materials, ensuring secure movement within and between facilities.
- Develop and enforce procedures for safe and secure transportation of sensitive materials.
High-Value Assets & Event Security:
- Implement specialized security measures for high-value assets and ensure the protection of key gaming equipment.
- Coordinate security efforts for high-profile events, managing all aspects of event security, from personnel to logistics.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve security protocols and methodologies.
- Assess and implement new tools and techniques to enhance security operations.
Requirements
Experience:
- Proven track record in security operations, with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial role. Experience in the security, asset protection, law enforcement, gaming or a related field is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of security risk management, emergency response, and security technology.
Certifications:
- Preferred security certifications such as ASIS Certified Protection Professional(CPP) or other internationally recognized qualifications.
Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, especially in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, including responding to security incidents or emergencies as needed.
