Job Description

To ensure the effective, secure, and uninterrupted operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure by managing networks, servers, cybersecurity controls, and business systems. This role is responsible for maintaining stable connectivity, administering Windows and virtual server environments, managing FortiGate firewall security, and providing responsive technical support to all users. The IT Officer ensures compliance with IT policies, protects company data through strong security and backup practices, and supports business applications to enhance operational efficiency and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring stable network performance across all sites
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, and intrusion prevention.
Administer Windows Servers, Active Directory, file servers, and virtual environments (VMware / Hyper-V).
Provide technical support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and user access issues.
Implement cybersecurity measures, including patching, endpoint protection, and threat monitoring.
Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset records, and system reports.
Support business applications (ERP system and others) and coordinate with vendors for updates and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, QHSE standards, and participate in audits.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Previous experience with FortiGate Firewalls and Windows Server Administration is mandatory.
Skills Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN), VPN, routing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS.
Proficiency in server management and virtualization technologies.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience Minimum 4–5 years of IT support or IT administration experience.
