The Director of Operations will play a critical role in shaping the strategic and operational direction of the exchange. This leader will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and scalability.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational goals with the company’s vision and objectives.

Operational Management:

Oversee all aspects of exchange operations, including trading systems, customer support, and payment processing.
Monitor and optimize workflows to enhance performance, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
Ensure high availability and performance of trading platforms.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Establish robust risk management frameworks and policies.
Liaise with legal and compliance teams to manage audits and regulatory reporting.

Team Leadership:

Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Technology and Security:

Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure and reliable systems.
Stay ahead of industry trends and implement cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
8+ years of experience in operational leadership roles, preferably in fintech, crypto, or financial services.
Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and trading platforms.
Proven track record of scaling operations in a high-growth environment.
Experience in compliance and regulatory frameworks within the financial sector.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with crypto exchange platforms and associated technologies.
Familiarity with KYC/AML processes and regulatory requirements.
