Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Manager at Nejoum Al Jazeera in Sharjah. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's IT infrastructure, managing technology projects, ensuring data security, and providing technical support to the team.
To provide IT service capability and cost expertise in the acquisition and implementation of IT systems and solutions for all internal and defined group of external customers. To develop, implement and maintain solutions that meet customer needs. To manage and control the IT personnel, design projects, assign project teams. Participates in the development of targets and budgets and is responsible for expenses control. Support in the recruitment and hiring of his own team, in collaboration with HR team. To support Nejoum Al Jazeera IT function in line with Nejoum Al Jazeera’s strategies and general objectives, adhering to the principles defined by global Information Technology and Systems.
Role Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop the I.T. strategy into time definite project plans and ensure that these are implemented in a timely fashion and within agreed budgets.
- Agree with The Chairman and Executive Management team on Project priorities.
- Maintain and develop a top-quality team of staff capable of supporting the I.T. infrastructure and delivering customized solutions to support Nejoum Al Jazeera business properly and effectively.
- Manage the IT Team so that all centrally hosted software and applications are supported as per SLA’s. Ensure that Nejoum Al Jazeera overall business receives timely and uninterrupted business support during all critical time periods.
- Plan and control the IT budget in accordance with company IT goals, Objectives and KPIs.
- Issue IT guidelines to Nejoum Al Jazeera business and ensure that they comply as per global IT policies and Standards.
- Lead the IT role to interface between All Nejoum Al Jazeera group companies.
- Develop cost effective relationships with suppliers/vendors.
- Review technological advances in the industry with the purpose to be able to provide Nejoum Al Jazeera the most cost effective and premium services and solutions to enhance its position in the marketplace.

Qualifications
- University Degree in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science,
- Masters Information Technology would be preferred.
- Owning some of the IT recognized certifications like (CISA, ITIL Foundation, CRISC, CEH, PMP, CISM, CSM) would be plus
- 15-20 Years of experience in IT function, 7 of which in IT Management and Leadership role.
