TGC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Engineer to lead the development, implementation, and management of our comprehensive security program. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of both technical and compliance aspects of information security, and will be responsible for safeguarding our systems and data. This role requires close collaboration with application teams, and involves architecture reviews, monitoring, and maintenance of our security infrastructure across multiple cloud environments including GCP and AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Program Development & Implementation: Plan, develop, and implement TGC's security program, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM): Manage and maintain the SIEM infrastructure to monitor and analyze security events.
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR): Implement and oversee EDR solutions to detect, investigate, and respond to potential security threats.
- Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Zero Trust Network (ZTN): Manage VPN solutions and design ZTN architecture to ensure secure access to TGC’s resources.
- Cloud Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor and assess the security posture of TGC’s cloud environments, particularly GCP and AWS.
- Architecture Reviews: Collaborate closely with application teams to conduct architecture reviews and ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Compliance: Ensure all security measures comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance.
- Incident Response: Lead the incident response process, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents.
- Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in information security engineering or a related role, with proven experience in managing security for cloud environments (GCP, AWS).
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SIEM and EDR tools.
- Strong understanding of VPN and Zero Trust Network principles.
- Expertise in cloud security, particularly in GCP and AWS environments.
- Experience with security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead security initiatives.
