Role Overview

On behalf of our client, a fast-growing business in the Middle East, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Information Technology to lead their IT department in Dubai, UAE. The Head of IT will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the company’s IT vision, ensuring the efficiency and security of all IT systems, and driving innovation to support their rapid expansion and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systems.
• Manage day-to-day IT operations to ensure seamless functionality and performance.
• Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure data security, compliance with IT policies, and protection against cybersecurity threats.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance business processes and operations.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient allocation of resources.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement IT solutions that drive operational efficiency and innovation.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.
• Establish and enforce IT governance policies and best practices.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and service delivery.
