They are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist with expertise in one or more domains: Blue Team, Red Team, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), or System Security. This hybrid role provides a mix of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility while contributing to the company’s mission of enhancing cybersecurity awareness and capabilities.
Job Summary:
The Cybersecurity Specialist will play a critical role in supporting and advancing the client’s cybersecurity education and solutions. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in one or more of the key areas (Blue Team, Red Team, GRC, or System Security) and a passion for staying ahead of evolving cybersecurity threats. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional eager to contribute to the client’s mission of fostering cybersecurity excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Threat Detection & Defense (Blue Team): Monitor, analyze, and respond to security threats, ensuring the organization’s systems and data remain secure.
• Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing (Red Team): Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen system defenses.
• Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC): Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and risk management strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• System Security: Design, implement, and maintain secure systems and infrastructure to protect against cyber threats.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cybersecurity measures across platforms and operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into the organization’s strategies and training materials.
Requirements:
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Blue Team, Red Team, GRC, or System Security.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and frameworks relevant to your area of expertise.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaborating with teams and conveying technical concepts.
Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
