IT Support
The Role:
Land Sterling is a leading real estate consultancy firm committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients globally. We seek a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team as part of our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Offer timely and effective technical support to employees, addressing hardware and software issues
- Set up laptops and workstations for new employees, ensuring all necessary software and applications are installed
- Configure email accounts, file server access and telephone system access.
- Facilitate the integration of biometric authentication systems for secure access
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems, ensuring minimal downtime
- Assist users in setting up and configuring their workstations and software applications
- Educate employees on proper computer usage and security policies
- Manage hardware inventory, including computers, printers, and other peripherals
- Install, upgrade, and maintain software applications and operating systems
- Monitor and maintain the company's network infrastructure
- Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity issues
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures
- Conduct regular cybersecurity audits and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Manage data backup processes to ensure data integrity and availability
- Assist in monitoring and activating the Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Maintain accurate records of IT-related activities, configurations, and issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance overall system efficiency
- Liaise with service providers and external vendors for hardware and software support
- Utilise and manage Google Workspace services for corporate purposes, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and other collaborative tools.
- Troubleshoot and provide support for any technical issues related to Google services.
- Integrate Google services into the company's workflow efficiently
- Stay updated on new features and functionalities of Google services, recommending and implementing improvements where applicable
- Assist in purchasing computer systems and hardware for the company
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace Services
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware (physical/virtual) and software issues
- Familiarity with network protocols and security measures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
