Head of Information Security – FinTech – Dubai, Full Time
We are looking for a Head of Information Security to join our client, who are a leading FinTech organization in Dubai. As the Head of Information Security, you will lead a growing team of security professionals, oversee the design and implementation of system architecture whilst making sure this adheres to regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a growing international team of security professionals, focusing on their performance, deliverables, career development, and engagement.
- Drive improvements to security processes, ensuring team capacity is aligned with business objectives and targets.
- Oversee the design and implementation of system architecture changes in collaboration with architects and senior engineers.
- Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to meet financial objectives while maintaining a strong security posture.
- Develop and update cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, and practices to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards, including PCI, ISO27001, and SOC2.
- Track, analyze, and monitor key cybersecurity performance metrics.
- Stay informed on the latest trends and best practices in cybersecurity.
- Champion innovation, creativity, and thought leadership within the cybersecurity space.
- Align team efforts with business goals to ensure successful project delivery.
- Foster transparency regarding challenges, failures, and achievements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, product management, sales, and client delivery.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a Head of Information / Cyber Security.
- Proven experience in fintech, payments, or banking technologies, with in-depth knowledge of card issuing, payment processing, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Significant experience working in adherence to standards and regulations such as PCI-DSS, ISO 270001, SOC 2, PCI PIN.
- Advanced knowledge of security product constructs, particularly in financial services and payments.
