Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
- Min. Experience is 8 years in CyberSecurity
- Proven Managerial Experience
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
- Proficiency in using cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions.
- Hands-on experience with incident response and threat hunting.
- Knowledge of cloud security, network security, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Understanding compliance and regulations specific to the UAE (e.g., NESA, ADGM, DIFC guidelines).
Tasks:
- Lead and manage cybersecurity operations, including threat monitoring, detection, and response.
- Oversee the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
- Coordinate incident response efforts, managing real-time security events and ensuring effective mitigation.
- Perform risk assessments and manage vulnerability management programs.
- Collaborate with other IT and business units to align cybersecurity strategies with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and best practices.
- Manage a team of cybersecurity analysts, engineers, and other technical staff.
- Develop training and awareness programs for staff to foster a security-conscious culture.
- Regularly report on the status of cybersecurity operations to senior management.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threat landscapes.
