Job Description
The Cloud Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the organization’s cloud infrastructure. They will assess, monitor, and mitigate security risks, as well as develop and implement security measures. This role requires in-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security assessments of cloud infrastructure and identify vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures for cloud environments.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Investigate and resolve security breaches or incidents.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security controls are in place and updated.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging threats in cloud security.
- Provide recommendations for improving the security posture of cloud systems.
- Conduct training and awareness programs on cloud security best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Proven experience in cloud security analysis and incident response.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and associated security controls.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Relevant certifications, such as CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or CCSK (Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge).
