BigID Resource - Abu Dhabi, UAE (AED 17,000)
We are seeking a skilled BigID Resource to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role offers a competitive salary of AED 17,000 and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data privacy and security projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data governance, architect teams, and data owners to understand data sources and the data landscape.
- Scan and catalog structured and unstructured data sources using BigID.
- Administer and integrate BigID across Cloud, on-prem, and SaaS environments.
- Perform data discovery, classification, correlation, and cluster analysis using BigID’s machine learning and entity recognition capabilities.
- Provide process and tool-based training to staff.
- Troubleshoot configuration and connectivity issues with platforms connecting to BigID.
- Develop project deliverables, synthesize findings, and integrate them into strategic-level deliverables.
- Monitor BigID application performance, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Work with Cybersecurity, Insider Threat, Privacy teams, and other stakeholders to provide data insights, reports, and recommendations.
- Analyze results to capture and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Streamline approaches to achieve end-to-end processes including BigID onboarding, configuration, scanning, result validation, assessment, and remediation.
- Develop data labeling approaches and integrate with Microsoft Purview.
- Create Data Insight Studio use cases and reporting solutions.
- Perform tasks as directed by project leads.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, information technology, data science, information systems, or engineering. Relevant work experience may be considered.
- 1-3 years of experience in data privacy, security, or governance.
- Advanced experience with BigID (BigID certification is a plus).
- Experience troubleshooting BigID configuration and connectivity issues.
- Knowledge of AWS, Oracle, MongoDB, Azure, and SQL Server.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Experience with Python, GitHub, Jenkins, and APIs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
