Position Overview: As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents across our networks, systems, and applications. You will work closely with the IT and security teams to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from various monitoring tools to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Implement and manage security measures, such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Investigate and respond to security breaches or cyberattacks, including root cause analysis and incident documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and best practices, and recommend enhancements to the security posture.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system and software configurations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas of improvement.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit).
- Familiarity with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure) and network security concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
